Jim & Cathy Palm

When we were there last fall we were at the House he grew up in, we were all on the porch and the Ranger was telling us about the house before we went in when a tour bus pulled up and stopped in front of the house. The Ranger stopped and said lets give them a minute, about 30 people jumped off the bus lined up on the sidewalk taking picture of the house, after about a minute and a half the driver tooted the horn and they all jump back on and were gone. Total time less then two minutes but they can now say that they saw the house he grew up in.

At that time they were letting us take pictures inside the ranch house and Lady Bird's grave didn't have a headstone yet so every morning they placed fresh wildflowers on her grave.
