Good choice on passing up on the Diamonds, we did that about four years ago and just wrote it off as a wasted day. It was hot no shade the dirt was baked hard and all we got was tired and dirty.

That is amazing...we got a chip in our windshield in La. also. We called a windshield repair company (don't remember the name) and they did the very same thing to our chip. It held well. Hope yours does the same!!

Happy you found a park in HS you liked. We too had a small chip in our windshield when we returned to NC last Fall. Looks like we got the same kind of repair -- can't even see where the chip was.

This is wonderful. We are headed for AK in around June 23. Our first stop is Murfreesboro. We are going to weather the heat and try our luck looking for those HUGE diamonds. We are thinking of staying at the State Park. Now I will have to go on Google Earth to what the park looks like from above. Hopefully, there are partial shade sites.
Can't wait to read about your Hot Springs stay. That is our next stop. We are Elks and plan to stay there, but thanks for the heads up on this campground. Looks lovely.
We are going to Little Rock next and already have reservation at the Maumelle COE. Enjoy your stay.

We love Hot Springs, and have even done the hot spring bath and massage package. It was a great experience. . .and I look forward to going back someday.

Looking forward to reading your next post!

It's good that you were able to catch it early on and not have it spread. Replacing a RV windshield isn't the easiest thing in the world.

Good choice of auto glass.
