« Florida Wrap-up | Main | Callaway Gardens Part I: Azaleas »

April 01, 2012

We are finding out more and more that when they say free WIFI, we have to wait till we get there to really believe they have good WIFI.
Your site in the SP looks wonderful. It looks like a COE park with the water. This must be like a taste of heaven for Freeway. Trees, squirrels, open space...just heaven. Thanks for the heads up about GA SP. We haven't had to use them yet but may one day.
Hope you enjoy your week. Look forward to hearing about Callaway Gardens.

We loved that area when we were there in Nov 2010. Their Fantasy of Lights show at Callaway Gardens was great. We stayed at Pine Mtn RV Resort just north of town-we weren't sure how FDR State park would be. Have fun -be safe.

Callaway and FDR Park are home for me. I live in Columbus, about 30 minutes from there. When my kids were small and I homeschooled them we had annual passes to Callaway and several times my family stayed in the cabins at FDR. When I first started writing I would stay in the hotel across from Calloway and spend several days in the park writing. My kids loved FDR park with all the trails, lake and playground. I hope it was a good experience for you.
Since I've discovered RVing online it is my dream one day (hopefully within the year) to live this way. I'm single but the Lord will watch out for me. I plan to bring my 2 doggies with me if my daughter will give up her half of the custody she took when she got married (lol).
God bless,
