We love country. I can't even image Elvis attempting to perform on the big stage. I am shocked most patrons didn't walk out.

We have been through Nashville frequently over the years but only last Fall finally took the time to stop and enjoy it in depth. We are not necessarily country music fans but thoroughly enjoyed the Country Music Hall of Fame and downtown Nashville. Two more "must see's" are the old Ryman Theater and the new Opryland Hotel. Would like to spend more time there. Still enjoying your blogs as usual. HDS

Thanks for the history lesson on country music. Loved the pictures as well. It has been more than 20 years ago that we were in Nashville. Probably time for us to go back.
