I love visiting old plantations. I try to image what it would really be like to live there. I don't think I would have survived...hehe

I think this is the first tine I have ever heard of a tabby home.

So timely that you told us how Ellenton was named. Just today on the radio, they did a story on Houston and many of the surrounding cities got their names.
