Breakdowns are never a good thing ... But it sounds like you will make it through this one with no major damage or injury! Might be a good time to check/replace those other bearings!! Given lemons ... Might as well make some lemonade.

Paul Weaver

So sorry to hear about your problem. I almost skipped having my bearing checked and re-packed this year. My thinking was I don't travel that much anymore and every 2-years should be fine. Glad I had the work done and will probably stick with the every year service.

Two years ago they did find badly scorched bearings, a result of over heating. I will insist on American bearings in the future as a result of your findings.

Again, sorry to hear about your bad experience but happy things turned out safely!

Have a good and safe remaining trip.

Breakdowns happen, glad no one got hurt.

Cheryl

Sorry to hear this and glad you didn't have damage. It's sad to know how much we pay for these rigs and have problems with cheap parts. Be safe

Rob and Linda Picchione

Sorry to hear this! But so glad you made it out safely. Breaking down on a busy highway would be awful!
